Guggenheim Securities Equity Research Publishes 'The Efficient Frontier' Private Company Report

The report showcases recent developments in energy and industrial technology from the perspective of private companies.

Guggenheim Securities Equity research report, 'The Efficient Frontier,' was originally published, on June 27, by Joe Osha, CFA, and Hilary Cauley, CFA, who cover the Energy Technology and Industrial Technology sectors.

The analysts' report showcases recent developments in energy and industrial technology from the perspective of private companies, and also highlights 55 companies that are working to address climate change and environmental degradation.

The 55 private companies profiled in the report fall into seven different sub-sectors: transportation (five companies), technology platforms (13 companies), materials technology (seven companies), fuels (five companies), energy storage (nine companies), energy production (seven companies), and the carbon economy (nine companies).

Osha and Cauley also described the trends of investors in the sustainability industry. Total funding for private companies in sustainability has increased for six consecutive years, with 2022 marking the strongest year ever for venture funding. Energy storage and carbon capture companies have been the most dominant capital raisers in recent years, Osha and Cauley wrote.
