Guggenheim Securities Named Most Innovative Securitization Bank and Esoteric ABS Bank of the Year by GlobalCapital

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, was named both “Most Innovative Securitization Bank of the Year” and “Esoteric ABS Bank of the Year” by GlobalCapital.

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, was named both “Most Innovative Securitization Bank of the Year” and “Esoteric ABS Bank of the Year” by GlobalCapital. The awards were presented yesterday at the 2019 GlobalCapital US Securitization Awards in New York with the capital markets publication launching its innovative securitization awards for the first time.

This is the second year in a row that Guggenheim Securities’ Structured Products Origination team was named “Esoteric ABS Bank of the Year” by GlobalCapital, previously winning the award in 2018.

“Guggenheim Securities’ Structured Products Origination group is proud to be recognized for our leadership in non-traditional asset backed securitization and to be selected by GlobalCapital the ‘Most Innovative Securitization Bank of the Year,’ as well as to be voted by GlobalCapital readers the ‘Esoteric ABS Bank of the Year,’” said Senior Managing Director Cory Wishengrad. “Guggenheim Securities is the number one underwriter of non-traditional asset backed securities since 2014, leading more than 130 transactions to serve our clients with innovative solutions for their most complex and important transactions.”

The GlobalCapital US Securitization awards are held annually and award the most successful and innovative firms and deals of the year. Voted on by market peers and clients, the US Securitization Awards recognize the banks, issuers, law firms, and investors who successfully navigated the securitization market environment and provided best-in-class service to their clients.

The “Most Innovative Securitization Bank of the Year” recognition is part of a new category of awards: “Pitched Awards,” which highlight the new asset classes and the new structures that banks are working with to expand the securitization industry.
