Guggenheim Securities Announces Hiring of Brian Griffiths to Expand Its Technology Investment Banking

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced the hiring of Brian Griffiths as a Senior Managing Director.

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced the hiring of Brian Griffiths as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Griffiths will focus on advising companies across the technology industry and will commence work at Guggenheim in June 2014.

The addition of Mr. Griffiths broadens the reach of Guggenheim Securities’ full-service investment banking capabilities dedicated to the dynamic and fast-growing technology sector.

Mr. Griffiths has worked on strategic transactions and financings with some of the most notable companies in technology, including Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Commscope, Interxion, Kaspersky Lab, Marlin Equity Partners, Motorola Solutions, Nokia, NSN, Nuance, NXP, TE Connectivity and Xerox. Mr. Griffiths is currently a Managing Director in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group at Credit Suisse in New York and previously was the Co-head of European TMT and Head of European Technology at Credit Suisse in London.

Mr. Griffiths graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in Economics and earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
