Guggenheim Securities Hires Jonathan Cary to Expand Financial Sponsor Practice

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Jonathan Cary will be joining the firm as a Senior Managing Director to build the financial sponsor effort within investment banking.

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Jonathan Cary will be joining the firm as a Senior Managing Director to build the financial sponsor effort within investment banking.

Mr. Cary will be joining Guggenheim Securities from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent 14 years in the bank’s Financial Sponsors group. Prior to that, he worked for Credit Suisse in the Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets groups for eight years in both Australia and the United States. He began his career at Potter Warburg and at KPMG Peat Marwick, both in Sydney, Australia, in corporate finance.

Mr. Cary earned his Bachelor of Business Degree with Credit from the University of Technology in Sydney, is a graduate of the Securities Institute of Australia, and was admitted to the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
