NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Lackland Bloom will be joining Guggenheim as a Senior Managing Director in the energy investment banking group. Mr. Bloom will focus on advising companies in the oil and gas sector.
Mr. Bloom has over 17 years of investment banking experience. He spent 16 years at J.P.Morgan, serving as Co-Head of J.P.Morgan’s Oil & Gas Investment Banking Group. Mr. Bloom joins Guggenheim from Deutsche Bank Securities, where he served as Managing Director and Head of the Houston Investment Banking Office.

Mr. Bloom received his M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University as well as his B.A. from Southern Methodist University. He will be based in Guggenheim’s Houston office.
