Guggenheim Securities Hires Onnie Mayshak to Expand Boston Office

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced that W. Onnie Mayshak has joined its Boston office as a director in equity sales.

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced that W. Onnie Mayshak has joined its Boston office as a director in equity sales.

“As we grow our equity research platform and origination product offering, our goal is to expand the breadth and depth of our distribution capabilities appropriately to institutional clients,” said Matthew Johnson, Head of Equities at Guggenheim Securities. “Onnie’s experience and expertise make him uniquely qualified to help us bring a differentiated outcome to our Boston clients.”

Mr. Mayshak’s hiring is the latest move in Guggenheim’s investment in building out its equities platform and institutional client coverage. Mr. Mayshak joins Guggenheim from Ned Davis Research, where he served as director of the institutional sales group, working with asset managers throughout Boston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Prior to that, he spent several years at Susquehanna International Group.

He graduated with a B.A. from Harvard University.
