Guggenheim Securities Hires Robert Lieberberg as Chief Administrative Officer

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced that Robert Lieberberg will be joining the firm as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for the securities business.

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, today announced that Robert Lieberberg will be joining the firm as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for the securities business.

“We are pleased to welcome Robert to the Guggenheim team,” said Alan Schwartz, Executive Chairman of Guggenheim Partners and CEO of Guggenheim Securities. “Robert’s experience in managing and supporting a global securities business, with an eye toward efficiency and reliability, will enable us to further optimize our resources and infrastructure as we continue to grow both in the U.S. and internationally.”

Mr. Lieberberg joins from Mizuho Securities USA, where he served as Head of Strategic Business Planning. He spent 26 years at Lehman Brothers in a number of leadership roles including Global Chief Administrative Officer for the Equity Division, Global Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets and Global Head of Expense Management for the firm.

He graduated with a BA from Colgate University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
