NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Sean Madnani will be joining the firm as a Senior Managing Director in the investment banking group in June.

Mr. Madnani will be joining Guggenheim Securities from Blackstone, where he spent the last 10 years, and served most recently as a Partner and Senior Managing Director leading the technology mergers and acquisitions practice for the West Coast and Asia. Prior to joining Blackstone, he worked at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC in New York, San Francisco, and London. Over the course of his career, Mr. Madnani has advised on corporate transactions totaling in excess of $100 billion in aggregate value.
Mr. Madnani received a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He graduated as a Cal Alumni Scholar and an IBM Thomas J. Watson Scholar.
