Guggenheim Securities Hires Steven Friedman to Expand Financial Institutions Practice

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Steven Friedman will join the firm as a Senior Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group, focusing on the insurance sector.

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Steven Friedman will join the firm as a Senior Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group, focusing on the insurance sector.

Mr. Friedman joins from Greenhill & Co., where he served as Head of Financial Services. Prior to joining Greenhill, he served as Co-Head of the North American Insurance practice at UBS Investment Bank, following his time at Credit Suisse First Boston as a member of the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Friedman began his career as a lawyer with White & Chase.

Mr. Friedman graduated from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and received his J.D. from Tulane Law School.
