Guggenheim Securities Names Michael Henkin Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Restructuring

Appointment Illustrates Continued Build-out of Investment Banking Platform and Restructuring Advisory Practice

NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities today announced the appointment of Michael Henkin as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Restructuring. Mr. Henkin, who will be based in San Francisco, joins New York based-Ronen A. Bojmel, current Head of Restructuring, to lead the continued expansion of the firm’s restructuring advisory team.

Alan Schwartz, Executive Chairman of Guggenheim Partners, said, “Michael is a highly respected restructuring advisor who has produced outstanding results in complex and ground-breaking transactions. Mr. Henkin joins Guggenheim Securities after spending fourteen years at Jefferies & Company, Inc., where he most recently served as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group. Throughout his career, he has advised on over $100 billion in transactions encompassing restructurings, recapitalizations, financings and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Jefferies & Company, Mr. Henkin also spent six years working in the communications, technology and media industries, including positions at Loral Space & Communications, NextEngine, Inc. and The News Corporation Limited.
